About this event
Swim, bike, and run the Race Preview for Ironman California. Training Weekend is one of the most fun and memorable events and training of the whole year for triathletes and coaches alike. Whether you have a few races under your belt, or this is your first time doing a race or being a part of a team, seeing the course is an important learning experience. Most triathletes especially look forward to the training experience on the actual course. We are able to get away with your teammates, stay in an hotel, experience a weekend away and the course with no stress of racing. Remember, training weekend is just that, another training opportunity. It is your opportunity to experience the entire course of your race without the pressure of racing. It is another learning experience. After experiencing the course, most people say to themselves, "That wasn't so bad. Not as bad as I thought it would be." Your Benefits: • Course preview sessions for each section • Two days of non-competitive swim, bike, and run under professional coach supervision • Full SAG support with safety and basic first aid (excluding buddy swimmers) • Transition practice and educational sessions * Saturday night’s catered participant dinner with a guest speaker, and hotel stay Saturday night.
