This year was all about the indoor row machine. The equipment popped up in group fitness classes, and boutique studios completely devoted to the workout style opened. While the total-body routine isn't going anywhere, boxing is going to have a big moment in 2015.
Boxing is a sport and has been used as a workout for ages. Case in point: Victoria's Secret angels, including Adriana Lima, work up a sweat in the boxing ring. But, we predict that next year will be the tipping point, turning the combat-style workout into an even more mainstream class.

There are a lot of reasons why you might find yourself in a boxing class soon. First, it's a quick way to seriously toned body. The workout will tax your cardiovascular system causing your heart rate (and caloric burn) to skyrocket, and all of that punching does incredible things for your upper body. (Just ask Shay Mitchell.)
Another reason is that the workout has some serious muscle behind it now: Last week Reebok announced a partnership with UFC, the top mixed martial arts organization. While the deal includes making a Reebok/UFC apparel line, the growth potential goes way beyond just influencing your wardrobe. For example, think about what Reebok has done for CrossFit -- while the workout method has been around before the brands aligned, the formerly "underground" training style is now one of the most popular training styles.
