This evening class is designed for adults with little or no sailing experience. Emphasis will be placed on terminology, small boat handling, seamanship, and the joys of sailing into the sunset. Our US Sailing Certified Instructors will quickly get you on the water to enjoy the hands on experience of rigging boats, hoisting sails, tying knots and getting your boat to move from point A to point B. Our Adult program is a no pressure, no yelling, supportive environment in which you can learn to sail. Minimum age of 16 will be approved if parent also attends. Adult must have physical ability to support movement on a small boat. Well fitting personal flotation device (PFD) and closed toe shoes must be brought and worn during each class.
