Tumbleweed Triathlon
The Race (USAT Sanctioned and Officiated):
This is a Swim-Bike-Run format on the UTPB Campus. The bike is a flat 20k out and back on wide shouldered roads with minimal traffic (HELMET REQ.). The run is an out and back on the UTPB campus with little traffic. The swim is a 400 yd. snake swim in a 50m pool. The limit for number of entries is 80 individual entries and 14 teams. So, sign up early. *NOTE: Chip Timing will be used.
Also, Prices do NOT include one day USAT registration fee of $13.00 per adult athlete/participant for non-USAT members (Note: There is also a one day registration available for Youth (17 and under)). See, USAT MEMBERSHIP fee details here: https://www.usatriathlon.org/membership

PICK UP LOCATION:
Packet Pickup will be at MCH MISSION FITNESS CENTER, 8050 E Highway 191, Odessa, TX 79762 contact Carmen at 432-640-6400 / carmen.kenner@missionfitnessnow.com. Pick up your race packet on Saturday (the day before the race), July 27th from 1:00 pm to 6:00pm. Reg. closes Saturday at 6:00PM. ID required. Waivers must be signed online in order to participate.
The race starts at the UTPB Pool NOT the Odessa Y or Mission Fitness. Also, packet pickup is no longer at the Odessa Y.
>NOTE: Call Joe Moya at 432-550-7654 (8AM - 5PM) for any additional hotel/travel questions or any details regarding USAT requirements or specific registration issues. USAT Race Official will be at race.

- Packet pickup Saturday, July 27TH 01:00am to 6:00pm at MCH Mission Fitness Center or Sunday morning before 7am at UTPB Bring ID and USAT member card (if applicable)
- Race will be at UTPB Pool 4901 East University Blvd.
- Race Setup will began Sunday morning at UTPB @ 6:00am. Race numbers/Chips issued.
- Race will began Sunday, July 28th @ 7:30am. Participant meeting 30 min. before start.
