Date: Feb 16 Instructor: José Picayo With very little assembly required, students will spend the majority of this class weaving. With a bead loom, we can produce bracelets, belts, or bands that can be used as an appliqué with another project or as standalone pieces. While bead weaving generally produces rectangular shapes, it is also possible to learn how to create angular and curvy forms too. Your instructor will help you with project planning as well as with starting and finishing techniques. This 3 hour afterwork shop will leave you with the basics skills of bead weaving and included in the cost, is your own bead loom and sead beads! - Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision.
